Winslow Wetherbee, Jr., age 94, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2017. He grew up in New York and graduated from Bentley Business College. Win started his career at a railroad company in Albany, New York and then worked for Goodyear for 44 years. He and his wife of nearly 70 years, Barbara Boyden Wetherbee, raised their family in Stoughton, MA before moving to Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Together, they enjoyed playing racquetball, traveling to all 50 states, as well as several continents, and volunteering at their church. In addition, Win was a member of the Service Corps of Retired Executives, where he offered advice and tax assistance for many years. He will be remembered for his loyalty, generosity, kindness and impeccable grammar. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children; Virginia (James) Palmer of San Diego, CA, Beth (Lee) Trautvetter of Weeki Wachi, FL, Bart (Janet) Wetherbee of Derry, NH, Wendy (Brian) Armstrong of Seville, OH and Tom (Katie) Wetherbee of Chagrin Falls, Ohio as well as 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date. Until then, Win's family is sure he would want all to know this: He was born in Cambridge, Mass, of course.
