Wilma Stoof

Wilma Laverne Stoof (nee Stedronsky, Sted), age 94, passed away on December 9, 2015. She was born on July 1, 1921 in Cleveland to the late Elsie and Arthur Houdus. Preceded in death by husband, George Michael Stoof, who passed away on August 21, 1996; she is survived by her children, Wayne Stoof, Georgan (William) Deka and Laura (Les) Hlavin; grandchildren, Mike (Lisa) Stoof, Mark (Joey) Stoof, Lenny Hlavin, Lara (Ethan) Waters, Lance (Yvette) Hlavin, Rachelle (Kurt) VanSickle and Vince (Amy) Deka; great grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia, Emma, Joshua, Wyatt, Chloe, Tyler, Hope, Nolan, Connor, Carson, Hayden and Leah. Wilma loved to dance, walk on the beach, fish, laugh, help others, have friendships, enjoy her grandchildren and to have a good cry from time to time. She also loved all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much and was proud of them all. Wilma belonged to Christian groups and was devoted to her Lord. Please take good care of her now, Dad, I return her to your care. Help her to dance a polka with those she loved most...Grandma, Art, Aunt Helen, Aunt Julia and of course, you! Memorial service will be 3:00 pm Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, Ohio 44321, where friends and family may call from 1-3 pm.
