Willie Brazil

Willie J. Brazil Jr., 47, born November 29, 1973 went home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2021.

He graduated from Central Hower High School and earned his college degree from the University of Akron. His passion was restoring anything that had electrical components. He was an avid fisherman and loved praising God. He was a good soul that will be missed on this side of heaven.

Preceded in death by his mom and dad, Willie and Mary Brazil Sr., he is survived by his son and his son's mother, Willie J. Brazil III and Monica Brazil of Akron. Brothers Ritchie Brazil Sr. and Larry Brazil of Akron; sisters Min. Wanda Gilkey of Texas, Carmella Brazil and Donna Brazil Christian both of Akron Shannon (Dario) Gordon of California. Devoted nieces and nephews, Ingrid, Brandon, LaNaire Gilkey all of Texas, and Ritchie Jr., Rosemary, Darius and David Brazil all of Akron. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Hummel Funeral Homes, 500 E Exchange St., Akron, OH 44304. Condolences for the family may be sent to 320 Noble Ave, Akron OH 44320.
