William Smith

William (Bill) Smith 75 of Stow passed away peacefully on Sunday June 26 2011 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. William was born on April 24 1936 in Akron. He was a graduate of St. Vincent - St. Mary High School in 1954 and Akron University in 1959. William leaves his wife Kathryn five children; Richard (Toni) Thomas (Debbie) Charles (Lisa) Susan (John) Wood Julia (Dan) Farrant and twelve grandchildren. William loved his family and friends. He loved to play handball and was active with the St. Hilary Booster Club. William also volunteered for the Red Cross was the president of Smithers Oasis and owned Windfall Market in Medina. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday June 30 2011 at 9:30 AM at St. Vincent Church. Interment in St. Vincent Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E.
