William Redmond

William Albert Redmond, age 75, passed away on April 27, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. William was born in Akron, Ohio on December 12, 1939 to parents Robert and Estella. He retired from General Tire and had a 39 year truck driving career. Bill was a 3 year veteran of the Army. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jean (Gear); 5 stepchildren, Larry Lloyd, Jeff Lloyd, Scott Lloyd (Dara Paul), Brian Lloyd and Candy (Frank) Dannemiller, 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, sister, Patricia Raymond and brother, Jim Redmond Bill was preceded in death by his parents and 6 brothers. Family and friends are welcome 4-7 p.m. Monday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, Ohio 44321. Funeral service will be 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
