William Moorehouse

William Moorehouse 89 died peacefully on June 4 2009. He was born to Ralph and Evelyn Miles on December 12 1919. He was raised by his loving Aunt and Uncle George W. and Kathryn Moorehouse in Cleveland after his mother's death. He received a degree in Chemical Engineering from Case School of Applied Science in 1942 served in the Army during WWII and worked for the B.F. Goodrich Company until his retirement. On May 13 1950 he married Mary Louise Fulkerson and was a loving father to three children. He was active in the Tax-Aide Program Torch Club American Institute of Chemical Engineering Case Alumni Association Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Men's Garden Club where he also served as National President. He is survived by his wife Mary; daughters Anne (David) Hanzel Martha Moorehouse; son David (Pam) Moorehouse; grandchildren Kate and John Moorehouse Zachary Hanzel; and cousin Ruth Armold. He was preceded in death by his sisters Helen Payne and Marian Johnson. A Memorial Service will be held on June 11 2009 at Westminster Presbyterian Church 1250 W. Exchange Street Akron.
