William Johnston

William ''Bill'' Garrard Johnston 53 formerly of Copley passed away suddenly at his home in Gastonia N.C. on January 12 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents Carlisle Garrard and Priscilla Johnston. Bill is survived by Debra (Adair) Johnston his daughter Carrie Belle Johnston and son Jerry William Johnston; sisters Eileen Johnston Lynn (Jim) Cadwallader; brother John (Lee) Johnston; and nieces and nephews. Bill was a proud U.S. Marine veteran who served during the Vietnam War. His love of music golf and NASCAR was surpassed only by the love for his children. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 PM Saturday January 31 2009 at Copley United Methodist Church 1518 S. Cleveland-Massilon Rd Copley OH 44321. Family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 until 1:00 PM.
