William Hohman

William P. Hohman, 87, of Cuyahoga Falls passed away peacefully on September 6, 2014. Born March 18, 1927 in Akron to the late William and Rose Hohman. He was a graduate of Akron Garfield High School and a WWII Navy veteran. He retired from BFGoodrich in 1986 after 39 years of service. Bill was an avid bowler throughout his lifetime. Bill was married for 65 years to Genevieve and was blessed with 10 children. Preceded in death by his parents, sister (Juanita Conley), and children Thomas (Kim McGarr), Michael, and Carol. Survived by wife Genevieve (Robinson), children Bill (Carol), Deb (Bill) Strobel, Dave, Sue (Chuck) Jones, Steve (Lorie), Jeff (Jeremy), and Lisa, 20 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Ann Smith. Visitation will be 4-7 on Tuesday, September 9 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 on Wednesday, September 10 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Interment in Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
