Upon his return from the Navy, he went to work for the next 43 years at the Ford Motor Company as an electrician, retiring in 1998. For most of their marriage, he and Penny lived in Bath where they enjoyed raising their family. He and Penny enjoyed many fun times with Kenneth and JoAnn including time spent western dancing, performing as part of the Bath Players, and traveling to Florida with many side stops exploring local history.
