William Birch

William H. Birch passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2017. Bill was born April 26, 1947 to the late William and Jane Birch. He was a 1965 graduate of Kenmore High School. He was employed for over 30 years by his father at William Birch Mason Contractors and opened his own company Bill Birch Builders, Inc in 1994. Bill loved nature, hunting, fishing, travel, Put In Bay and his home. He was an avid fisherman and passed that love on to so many. Loved by all and a friend to everyone. He is survived by his loving wife Sandi, his daughters Kimberly (Dan) Hoffman, Stephanie Wolff, stepsons James (Susie) Fisher. Jeffrey (Veronika) Fisher, and Michele (Jason) Lenke, Sherry (George) Antal, Jessica Birch, Michael Birch, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters Sherry (Mitch) Huber, Alane (Greg) Heller, stepmother Jennifer Birch and special friend Paul Liikala. The family would like to thank Copley Paramedics for their outstanding care over the years. Calling hours will be 4-7 pm Thursday at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, Ohio 44321. Funeral service will be 11:00 Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Copley EMS.
