Wenona Delores Bolen Green (Dolly) died peacefully November 23, 2016 at Wadsworth Pointe. She was born June 29, 1924 in Paden City, West Virginia. Preceding her in death were her parents, Philip and Goldie Bolen, five sisters and two brothers and husband William G. Green. As a young woman she came to Akron and worked at Falls Stamping and Welding for 25 years. She also worked on the Corsair airplane during the World War II effort. Dolly had many friends throughout the Akron and Barberton area. She was a selfless and caring person. She asked that the following be included in her obituary: 'God bless you all and many thanks to my friends, especially Susan Snyder (her faithful and loving caregiver), Liz, Betty, Sandra, Richey and all the other people who love me.' Grateful appreciation goes to the staff at the Saber Center at Barberton Hospital and also the staff on the second floor of Wadsworth Pointe for their care of Dolly in the last few years of her life. At her request there will be no service. Private burial will take place at Northview Cemetary, New Martinsville, West Virginia.
