Walter Staiger

Walter J. Staiger, 97 of Akron, passed away Sunday, June 12th, 2016 with his family at his side. He graduated from North High School and The University of Akron. Walter Served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Walter co-founded Imperial Plastics in 1960 in Rittman, Ohio. Walter was proceeded in death by his 2 sisters and 4 brothers. He is survived by his wife Genevieve (Kikta) of 66 years and their children Susan (John) Klein, Elizabeth (Ronald) Gentner, Walter (Victoria) Staiger and Eugene (Angela) Staiger, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sister Betty Rose Staiger and many nieces, nephews and friends. 'May you live forever and I never die...Cheers!' Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
