Virginia Stonitsch

Virginia G. Stonitsch (Auber), 95, of Copley, Ohio passed away in the early hours of December 21, 2018. She had been a resident of the Village of St. Edward's for many years and a past member of Guardian Angels Church. She was born on September 5, 1923 in Akron, Ohio. In her early years she worked at Goodyear Aircraft as 'Rosie the Riveter' prior to WWII, at Ohio Bell Telephone as an Operator/Instructor and then as a full-time wife and mother. Virginia was preceded in death by parents Edwin H. and Jeanne Auber; husband Marvin and son Kenneth Stonitsch; and siblings Edwin and Eugene Auber. Virginia is survived by dear friend Jackie Pfeiffer, her husband Bob and their children; niece Alicia Morgan and her husband Bob; and other nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Virginia Faulkner and her staff of No Greater Love for their many years of care; to the staff of the Village of St. Edward's, especially Leslie, for their many years of care and also the staff of Harbor Light Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1676 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd., Copley, Ohio, on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at 11:00 am with viewing one hour prior to Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to 'Angels In Blue Jeans' and sent to Guardian Angles Church at the address above.
