Virginia Kenna

Virginia Kenna, 97, passed away Saturday October 4, 2014 in Akron, Ohio. Virginia was born in South Bend, Indiana to the late Matthew and Blanch Lewinski. She was preceded in death by her husband William and brother James Lewinski. She is survived by daughter Jill (Robert) Burnstine; granddaughter Randi (Lee) Scherr; great granddaughters Kenna and Marlo Scherr and sister Violet Rydzynski. We will all miss her strong spirit and sense of humor. The family would like to thank all the caring people at Chambrel Retirement Home who have shown her such love and respect over the last eight years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday October 9 at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Church, South Bend, Indiana. Entombment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
