Victor Strelbicki 66 of Green died May 11 2010 at his home unexpectedly. He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Rosalia Strelbicki; sister Maria Franks; daughter Lisa Strelbicki; and sisters-in-law Marietta DiSabato and Lucille Mihaly. Vic is survived by his loving wife Helen of 34 years; sons Frederick and Victor (Marcie); daughter Tina (John) Hess; grandchildren Joshua Strelbicki and Autumn Jones; brothers Lorenz (Anna Marie) Strelbicki and Paul (Jane) Strelbicki; and brothers-in-law John DiSabato and Pete Mihaly. He is also survived by his Aunts Wilhemina (Adolf) Bauer and Hilda (Adolf) Brucker; and many nieces nephews relatives and friends. Vic came to Akron in 1956 with his parents when he was 12 years old and graduated from Akron Central High School in 1963. Vic previously worked for Hygenic Corp Reuther Mold and Ohio Edison. He enjoyed retirement and some of his hobbies included Ham Radio computers motorcycles and cars playing the organ and accordion as well as singing and dancing and his love of music. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday May 15 2010 at St. Francis De Sales Church 4019 Manchester Road. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street Akron on Friday evening from 4-8 PM. Vic's family would like to thank the staff at Akron General Medical Center and Dr. Dean Rich for their care. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and honesty. We will miss him.
