Timothy Mundy

Timothy Collins Mundy Sr. age 65 passed away on Friday May 3 2013. He was born February 28 1948 and was raised in Cuyahoga Falls. Tim attended Archbishop Hoban High School and Holy Cross Brothers at Notre Dame and spent time as a Trappist Monk at the Abbey of Gethsemani in Kentucky. He married Christina Foisie in 1986 and raised six children in Akron Ohio. Tim spent the majority of his career in sales and marketing based in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Rita Mundy; he is survived by siblings Mary Alice (Mike) Aldrich John (Susan) Mary Martha and Mark (Terry Berkley); children Kara (John) Singleton Bridget Elizabeth Collins Mary-Claire and Kathleen; and good friend Dave Bedell. Calling hours will be Monday May 6 from 5-7 p.m. at the Hummel Funeral Home (500 E. Exchange St.). Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday May 7 at St. Hilary Catholic Church (2750 W. Market St.). Interment in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Hospice Care Center 3358 Ridgewood Road Akron.
