Timothy Early

Timothy W. Early age 66 died Wednesday July 4 2012 of complications of heart failure. He returns to the peace of God of His faith. Tim was born in Cleveland grew up in Macedonia was a resident of Fairlawn and former resident of Kent and Akron. He is predeceased by his father and mother Howard Emerson and Alice Pearl (Tropf) Early and sister Janet Louise Early. He leaves his beloved wife Kincaid sons Ian of Portage county and Michael of Denver CO and twin brother Thomas of Arcata CA. Tim was a 30 year employee of the Akron Department of Planning and Urban Development serving the city as a Human Services Administrator and Community Planning Manager until retiring in 1998. He is a 1963 graduate of Nordonia High School of Macedonia a 1967 graduate of Hiram College and a 1968 graduate of Kent State University with a MA in sociology. Tim was a past member of the Akron Symphony Chorus past president of the Hiram College Alumni Executive Board and a volunteer for the National MS Society. He loved visiting national parks across the country train trips and book club discussions. Tim was also a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Choir of Men and Boys for over 20 years. Tim will very much be missed by his family and friends. Per Tim's request cremation has taken place. A choral memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church 1361 W. Market St. Akron on Wednesday July 18 2012 at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Paul's Choir dedicated to the sacred Choral music which gave Tim the greatest pleasure in his service to God and his church.
