Thomas Tona

Thomas R Tona, 51, of Akron passed away Sunday December 11, 2016. Tommy was born in Akron Ohio on December 9, 1965 to Judith and Jerry Tona; where he attended school and grew up. Tom had love of life and was 'your best friend'. There wasn't a place he could go that someone wouldn't know him by name and that he befriended. He worked hard at everything he did and looked forward to visits and conversations with his family and friends. We can proudly say that he left a lasting impression on everyone he met and was full of fun, laughter, and the only thing that surpassed his personality was her heart. Tom would give you everything he had even if he had nothing left. He would say 'Help someone else out today, it will change both of your lives.' Tom will be forever loved by his children he left behind, Tara (Christopher) Brown, Tabethia (Pablo) Fernandez, Tayna (Kory) Hess, his brother Jerry Tona 7 grandchildren, 4 nieces and 3 nephews; and many many friends. We will miss the love and joy he brought into our lives. There will be a memorial service held Monday December 19th at 5:00pm at SPAN Ministries located at 361 Northeast Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278.
