Tom Coyne, of Sullivan, Ohio, passed in peace on Sunday, November 7, 2021, at the age of 85. Our beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather will be deeply missed.
Tom was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents John & Dorothy (Marsh) Coyne. He grew up the youngest of four, with his brother John, and sisters Margaret & Mary Ellen.
Tom was married to Margaret Wanderscheid for 24 years. Tom then married Sandy (Biggins) Coyne and they enjoyed 35 beautiful years together, a true love story.
Tom loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, gardening, and bird watching. He enjoyed many tranquil hours on his property, one of his favorite places on earth.
He loved cooking and trying new recipes and was an amazing cook. He loved a western, especially if it starred John Wayne. He enjoyed all kinds of music and loved to dance. Tom loved all his animals, especially his sweet dog, Ava.
Tom enjoyed working hard and taught his children this strong value. He was an entrepreneur and started the Skyline Tree Service with his cousin Paul. He went on to own The Pioneer Lounge in Elyria where he perfected his own amazing pizza recipe. He owned The Village General Store & Cottages in Geneva-on-the-Lake. Tom retired from Progressive Processing in Elyria.
Tom is survived by his wife Sandy and children; Tom(Angie), Brian(Donna), Mary, John(Susan), Kathy, Harvey(Kim), and Ron(Pamela).
In addition, Tom is survived by his sister; Margaret(Bob) Howland, 26 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy & John Coyne, brother & sister-in-law, John & Irene Coyne, sister Mary Ellen Chapman, and daughter-in-law Jane.

There will be no funeral service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held later to date to be determined.
