View Video Tribute Here:Thomas W. Clark Sr. 85 passed away on October 16 2008. He served in the Marines in WWII in the South Pacific and worked at Goodyear Tire for 45 years. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Rita Mae Clark nee Gmerek; daughter Christine Marie; granddaughter Ashley Korec; grandson Joseph Clark; sisters Johanna Clark Dorothy Clark and Marie Roshak; brothers George Bernie Ray and Fran. He is survived by children Joanne (Ken) Korec Tom Jr. (Janet) Eddie Patty (Marty) Conway Dan (Jacqui) and Nancy (Bob) Thome. Tom is also survived by his grandchildren Brian Jeff and Traci Korec; Claudia Clark; Mallory Corey and Dylan Conway; Danny Jr. Steven Olivia and Veronica Clark; and sisters Catherine Hickman Theresa (Chuck) Knauer and Rita Clark. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday October 21 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Martha's Catholic Church 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron OH. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron on Monday from 4-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made in Tom's name to the Christine Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o St. V-M 15 N. Maple St. Akron OH 44303.
