Tage Hojfeldt

Tage Hojfeldt 75 of Akron died peacefully March 14 2005. Tage was born in Copenhagen Denmark in 1929. Tage received a Professional Chef degree in Denmark and immigrated to the United States in 1949. Chef Tage worked at Danish Smorgasbord Highland Square Yanko's Akron Motor Tower Inn Chesterfield Hotel Brookside Country Club Themlie's Lou & Hy's Delicatessen (cheesecake and matzoh ball chicken soup) Mark & Emily Catering. For 30 years Tage was a grateful and active member of AA. Tage was preceded in death by his parents Nora and Gert Hojfeldt who ran a successful catering business in Denmark. Tage is survived by Irena his wife of 32 years daughters: AnnaMargrethe (Fred) Stockdale Anita (Terry) P. Myers Alice (David) G. Riggs Rita (Tim) N. Lance. Grandchildren: Kirsten Joey Clinton Mindi Jaime Jacob Jordon Great Grandchildren: Samatha Seth Brenton Claire Slade. A memorial service will be held on Sunday March 20 2005 at 2 pm at Church In The Valley 2241 Everett Rd. Peninsula OH. The family requests no flowers no food no gifts.
