Sylvia Emerson

Sylvia Emerson 94 of Copley passed away March 20 2005. Sylvia was born in Akron to Harvey and Belle Thomasson on December 13 1910. She was a homemaker and member of Copley United Methodist Church Martha Circle Copley Senior Citizens Copley Historical Society and Women of Barberton Moose. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Ralph Waldo son Chester. She is survived by son Dennis (Ruth) Emerson former daughter-in-law Patricia Emerson. 8 grandchildren 7 great-grandchildren. A special thanks to the staff of Visiting Nurse Service and Hospice. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 26 2005 at 2:00 pm at Copley United Methodist Church 1518 Cleveland-Massillon Rd. with Rev. Frank Woodrum officiating. Cremation has already taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the Copley United Methodist Church or Hospice VNS.
