She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James; parents Cassius and Quinnie Hatfield; and brother Emory Hatfield. Suzanne is survived by her most precious and beloved sons Tim (Cathey) of Tallmadge Duane (Shirley) of Grand Junction CO George (Rose) of Cuyahoga Falls and Tom (Diane) of Tallmadge; and her 9 grandchildren Jaime Michael Stephen Brittney Aaron Michael Anthony Angela Sophia Kyle and Ryan. She is also survived by best friend and sister Meleta Sammons of Columbus; brothers C. W. Hatfield (Clara) of Columbus D. Tracy (Sandy) Hatfield of Bradenton Florida; her precious twin brother Earl (Donna) of Lincoln NE; as well as many relatives and friends. She was a 30 yr. member of the Auxiliary of Wendell Wilkie Post 19 of the American Legion. She was also a member of North Linder Baptist Church of Columbus. The family wishes to thank the wonderful and dedicated staff at the Hospice Center of VNS for their kind and loving care of Suzanne. Funeral Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday September 6 2008 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St with Pastor John E. Phillips officiating. Interment in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM - 12 noon. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in memory of Suzanne to the American Cancer Society 10501 Euclid Ave Cleveland OH 44106.
