Mrs. Susan Lynn Westcott LeHere, 78, of Wadsworth, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 2 following a brief illness.
Sue was born on August 31, 1946 in Akron to the late Theodore Westcott and Esther Prichard Westcott. They were married at St. Sebastian Church in Akron on August 26, 1967, and enjoyed 57 years of family life, travel, and a warm circle of devoted friends. A talented artist, Sue attended The University of Akron and Kent State University receiving a degree in art from The University of Akron. Her flair for decorating and design created a lovely family home, especially at holiday time.
After marriage, Sue became a devoted wife and mother and participated actively in the life of their son. She supported her family's every endeavor and was at her husband's side through graduate school and a successful professional career. Her kindness was evident in every person she touched, and her calming presence, sweet voice, and welcoming nature will be remembered by everyone who cherished her.
Sue was proud to have traveled throughout Europe assisting her husband in his efforts to recruit new technologies and to form new companies around these technologies in the Akron Global Business Accelerator. She was especially excited to be a member of the City of Akron's team that presented and won the All American City award in Tampa in 2008

LeHere and his wife Patricia; sister Muriel Richmond (Patrick) of Santa Maria, Calif.; brother David Westcott (Glorianna) of Tustin, Calif., brother-in-law Patrick LeHere (Cynthia) of Dublin, Ohio, and sister-in-law Shannon Fioravanti (Paul) of Wilmington, Del.
