Stephen Ringer

Stephen R. Ringer, 77 of Copley passed away Monday, March 28, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Toledo, OH to the late Ralph and Neva Ringer.
A graduate of Ohio University with a B.S. degree in business, his career centered on accounting for several companies. After college, Steve enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corp, where he went into Officer Training and ultimately was commissioned to a rank of Captain. He served his country in Vietnam and was awarded several honors and medals.
Steve was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church and loved his church community. He, also, was an avid reader of history and enjoyed fishing with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carla and his son, Marc and daughter, Amy (Sean) Fickers, grandson, Preston Fickers, sister, Saundy Kittle and brother Gary "Mic" (Joyce) Ringer. He loved his granddogs: Sanzi and Sylvie.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 (Noon) on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Faith Lutheran Church, 2726 W. Market St., Fairlawn, OH, with Pastor Jean Hansen as the celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Faith Lutheran Church, 2726 W. Market St., Fairlawn, OH 44333.
