Sophie Williams

Sophie Williams (''Aunt Soph'') 73 passed away on September 11 2004. She was born on February 23 1931 in Akron Ohio and was a first generation American born to Joseph and Sadie Williams (Boanny) who came from Lebanon. She was a 1947 graduate of West High School and a lifetime resident of Akron. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers George and Bernard Williams and sisters Lena Batal and Marie Williams. She will be sadly missed by her brother Robert Williams of Cuyahoga Falls nephews Arthur Richard and Gerald Batal all of Akron and nieces Alma Ickes the late Marlene Batal and the late Irene Beatty and many great-nieces and great-nephews. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation for the loving care and good wishes of Lillian Jebber Josephine Nemer Edna Arcuri and all the member of St. Joseph Church.
