Sherrie Marcum

Sherrie L. Marcum (Klein), 77, passed away on January 19, 2015 due to complications from surgery. She was preceded in death by former husbands, Jonathan Butash and Ronald L. Dunaway. She is survived by former husband, Dwain Marcum of Ocala, Florida; daughter, Becky (Bill) Marston of Lake Wales, Florida; sons, Ronald 'Charlie' Dunaway of Hartville; Dwain Marcum and Daniel Marcum of the home; grandchildren, Kurtis, Andrew and Rebecca and her faithful kitty of 17 years, Gus. Mom was born in Barberton and spent her whole life in the Akron area. She attended Rigs Lamar Cosmetology School and spent many years as a hairdresser before becoming a full time mom. She was active in the Barberton Historical Society and her church. Mom touched many lives during her 77 years and everyone who knew her just loved her. Cremation has taken place, per her wishes.. A Celebration of Life service will be held at The Lords House of Prayer, 6105 Manchester Rd.
