Sharon West

Sharon Sue West (Lewis) 66 passed away on Friday April 13 2012. She was born on November 17 1945 in Akron but spent the majority of her life in Copley. She graduated from Copley High School and Hammel Business College. Although she worked most of her life in insurance her main dedication and love was always her children and then her grandchildren. She was always there for support for her many friends that she developed through the years and loved with all her heart. Sharon is survived by her husband of 46 years Donald her sons Kevin and Michael her daughter Donielle (Spoerndle) and her extended family John Boughton and the Oliver family. Since leaving the work world her special joy has been the sharing of love and life with her nine grandchildren and her puppies. She has touched many lives during her years and her memory will live on through her family and friends. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday April 17 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Copley 44321. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Acute Palliative Care and Hospice Services at Summa Akron City Hospital.
