Sharon Sparhawk

Sharon Ann Sparhawk 'Sugar Booger' went home to be with the Lord on January 5 2011. She passed away at University Hospital Cleveland after a month long illness. Sharon was born October 20 1943 in Akron Ohio to the late Victor and Virginia Rollow. Sharon graduated from St. Vincent's High School and was a lifelong resident of Akron. Sharon worked at Household Finance and B.F. Goodrich before becoming a stay at home mom. She was the kind of person you met and seemed to have known your entire life. She always had a special name for you and would welcome all. Her specialty was making people smile and laugh. Her humor will be missed by many. Her favorite hobby was cooking and watching the cooking channel. Sharon will also be missed by her camping friends at Pymatuning Park. She is survived by her husband Robert of 41 years and sons Tim (Judy) and Jeffrey (Shelley) and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday January 11 2011 at Visitation of Mary (formerly Annunciation Catholic Church). Interment in the Old Tallmadge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St on Monday January 10 from 4-7 PM.
