Sharon Knafel

Sharon, 60, of Copley, Ohio passed peacefully on August 10, 2022. She grew up in Boston Township, now the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and attended Woodridge High School, class of '81.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 40 years, John, twin sons Matthew (Kendra) and Andrew (Jennifer), sister Cathleen Kornuta (Paul), grandsons Zachary and Evan, and stepmother Maggie Boodey. Sharon was preceded in death by her father Carl Boodey, mother Shirley, and grandson Joshua Knafel.

Sharon battled an illness for 37 years, and despite her circumstances, she's always maintained a positive attitude and never complained. She resided at Copley Health Center, and the family would like to extend a gracious thank you for all their care and compassion. Sharon's life was an example to many. She was a kind and caring person who one could turn to, a loving wife and mother. She went home to Jesus with family at her side.

Calling hours will be Friday, August 19 at 10 a.m.at Grace Church Norton Campus, 3970 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd., and funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Graveside ceremony will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park following the funeral.
