Selma Swaino

Selma C. Swaino 90 of Copley our loving mother and grandmother was called home by the Lord on September 1 2010. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years George Swaino who always referred to her as his Queen. Born October 4 1919 she was a retired Norton City school teacher dedicated member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 473 where she served as Chaplin. She volunteered as Girl Scout Leader and Braille Bible worker. Selma deeply loved her family and found great joy in her grandchildren. She was a kind inspiring and generous mother who will be deeply missed. She is survived by children Jean (George) Naswadi Dick (Patsy) Swaino and Carol Swaino Morrison; grandchildren Jeffrey Naswadi Bobby (Trina) Morrison Christopher Morrison David Morrison Carolyn (JT) Payer and Kelly Morrison; and great-grandchildren Gavin Xander and Riley Morrison and Kayleigh and Reagan Payer. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday September 4 11:00 AM at Hummel Funeral Home Copley 3475 Copley Road. Interment in Copley Township Cemetery with Rev. Donard Engle officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday September 3 2010 from 4-7 PM.
