Scott Yohem

Scott D. Yohem, age 34, of Akron, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016. He was a 2001 graduate of Copley High School. Scott loved his family, his friends, playing all sports and wearing his sweatpants and old t-shirts. He will always be remembered for his kind and generous heart. Scott went out of his way to help anyone in need, friend or stranger. Scott leaves behind his wife, Melanie; their baby boy due in February; parents, Thomas 'Hub' and Lynn Yohem; brother, Jason (Jen) Yohem; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. He will be greatly missed and the loss from his passing is immeasurable. Memorial service will be 7:00 pm Friday, Nov. 4, at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, Ohio, where family and friends may call from 4:00 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Melanie for their baby boy.
