Scott Fulkman

Scott Andrew Fulkman, 71, died suddenly on October 9, 2024. He was born in Akron, Ohio, on July 13, 1953, and lived in the Akron area for most of his life. He graduated from Revere High School in 1973 and attended the University of Akron. For decades he sang and played bass guitar in rock bands, both with and without his brother Jeff. He retired from the Summit County Board of Elections and lived his last years at his condo in Copley. At family gatherings, Scott's funny stories entertained everyone, and he was much loved by all. He will be fondly remembered for his kindness, thoughtfulness, and sense of humor, and he will be greatly missed.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents Marilyn and Dick Amos, and Jim and Bev Fulkman; brother Jeff Fulkman; brother-in-law Jim Geraci; and sister-in-law Kathy Amos. He is survived by his siblings: Steve Fulkman (Jaclynn), Jody Geraci, Sue Ward (Larry), Rick Amos (Kyong Hui), Jane McKenney (Dave), Charlie Amos; sister-in-law Debbie Fulkman; 15 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A family gathering honoring Scott will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
