Sara Stanley-Nicholas

Sara Stanley Nicholas born in Akron Ohio in 1940 was reunited with the love of her life Neil Nicholas and her parents Mike and Rafella Shaar on February 24th 2010. She is a graduate of Central Hower High School. She earned a doctorate in education from the University of Akron and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She was a teacher for many years and retired as principal from Central Hower High School. She is survived by son Michael (Linda) Stanley Lisa (Dennis) Stacks Julie Wysocki Robert (Patrice) Nicholas Nikki (Patrick) Custy and 10 much loved grandchildren. Brother Hany Shaar of Denver Colorado and many nieces nephew amazing family and special friends. Thank you for always making us feel bigger than we are Sara. You will be missed by so many. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday March 2 2010 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church 44 University Avenue Akron. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Road COPLEY on Monday March 1 2010 from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
