VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Santo (Sam) Costanzo 83 passed away peacefully with his family by his side September 6 2005. Born in Gayliano Catanzaro Italy. Sam was 5 years old when he came to the U.S. and graduated from South High in 1941. He proudly served in the army during WWII with the Third Armored Division 143 Armed Signal Corps and was in 5 major campaigns including The Battle of The Bulge. Sam was co-owner of the Costanzo's West Park Barber Shop with his brother Fred for over 40 years. He was a charter member of Guardian Angles Church Third Armored Division Association and A.A.R.P. Fairlawn Chapter 1667. His hobbies included hunting fishing golf gardening and travel. Sam was preceded in death by his parents Rosario and Teresa brother Biagio 'B' and niece Theresa Ann Costanzo. He is survived by Rose his wife of 59 years; sons Frank (Lavina) of Portage Lakes Ross (fiancé Barb) of Castle Rock CO Santo Jr. (Jill) of Wadsworth; daughter Theresa (Robert) Speight of Green; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Tony (Marylyn) and Fred (Dolores) all of Green. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday September 10 2005 at 10:00 Guardian Angels Catholic Church. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
