Sandra Halter

Sandra J. Halter 73 of Wadsworth passed away at Ridgewood Road Hospice on February 24 2009. Born in Lancaster OH on April 17 1935 she was preceded in death by her parents Kermit (Benny) Kellar and Hazel Wheland; and her daughter Sharon. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 54 yrs Lawrence H. Halter; son John (Carol) Halter; and five grandchildren. Sandra graduated from Copley High School in 1953 and thoroughly enjoyed the challenges of class reunions throughout the years. As co-owner of The Vogue Shop at Highland Square she loved teaching modeling. She also pursued a career at Pediatrics of Akron and retired after 21 years of service. Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM Saturday February 28 2009 at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Road. Entombment in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5-7 PM. The family extends special thanks to Hospice of Ridgewood.
