Ruth Evans

Ruth I. Evans (nee Fichter), born June 17, 1920 and lived her life in Akron, passed away on June 3, 2018. She was proud of being a 'Rosie the Riveter' during World War II. She leaves a cousin, Paul (Barbara) Steurer and a few close friends. The family would like to thank Continuing Healthcare Solutions of Cuyahoga Falls and Incare Hospice for all of their care. There will be no callling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30am Thursday at St. Hilary Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
