VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Roy D. Jeffers (Chief) 88 of Akron died November 15 2005. Roy was born on September 3 1917 in Bladen OH. He was the Owner of Roy Jeffers Trucking and Akron Wrecking. He was known by all for having a big heart. Roy began each morning with a song and he always did it his way! Roy was preceded in death by his wife Nanna Jeffers. He is survived by his daughters Judy Carroll Vicki (Steve) Hagenbaugh and Bobbi (Dave) McNeil; grandchildren John and James (Emmie) Horvath Joey Geiger Candace (Glen) Pleta Nicole (David) Greathouse Karri (Danie) Yeager Jolene Neman Crystal (Brian) Villers Tony Neman Michael (Brenda) and Matthew McGhee and Brian McNeil; 12 great-grandchildren brother Charles (Evelyn) Jeffers and sister Margaret Pope. Funeral Services will be Saturday November 19 2005 at 11:00 am at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Interment in the Hillside Memorial Park with Pastor Dallas R. Billington officiating. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home Friday from 4-7 pm.
