Rosemary Taggart

View Video Tribute:Rosemary Taggart 74 of Akron passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday November 4 2012. Rosie was born in Akron OH on December 20 1937 to the late Frank and Mary (Callahan) McNellis. Rosie graduated from St. Vincent High School where she met and married her high school sweetheart Edward. She was employed with Goodyear Tire for over 35 years was a long time parishioner of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Rosie also enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. Above all Rosie had a deep love for her family especially her five grandsons whom she would often go see play in many sporting events. Rosie is preceded in death by her husband and her parents. She leaves behind her children Lynn (Ray) Rogers Joseph (Angel) Taggart Michael Taggart Edward (Christine) Taggart; grandchildren Joseph Jr. and David Taggart Edward Jr. Benjamin and Eric Taggart and Kate (Anthony) Begin; great grandson Zurich Begin; brother Thomas (Edna) McNellis brother-in-law Dr. Donald (Colleen) Taggart and many dear nieces nephews and friends. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday November 8 2012 11 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave. Akron 44313. The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 7 2012 from 4-7 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Copley 44321. Private inurnment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
