Rose Knee

VIEW MEMORIAL TRIBUTERose M. Knee 95 of Akron died March 30 2009 at Summit Villa Care. She was born in Gallitzin PA and had been an Akron resident since 1952. Rose retired as a waitress at the Nifty Lunch across from Goodyear Plant 2 in 1980 after 15 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Knee in 1986. Rose is survived by daughters Nancy Knee and Peggy Miller; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and sisters Dorothy Wampler and Janet (Ron) Perry. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday April 2 2009 at Annunciation Catholic Church 87 Broad Street Akron where the procession will form. Interment in Grandview Memorial Park. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street Akron on Wednesday evening from 5-8 PM.
