Ronald Davis

Ronald Elwood Davis, 80, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on April 13, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born in Akron, Ohio on December 30, 1943, to Frank and Eula Davis. He graduated in 1961 from Ellet High School, 1971 from the University of Akron and served in the U.S. Army Ohio National Guard. He retired from the Akron Police Department after 25 years of service and then worked for First Merit Bank as a criminal investigator for 6 years. Ron enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, traveling with friends and spending time with family.

Preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Karen Eisenman, and sister Sandra Matich, he is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Victoria; niece, Martina Brick, great niece, Abigail Brick and great nephew, Alexander Brick, and many family and friends.

Family will receive visitors on May 11, 2024, at 10 AM, at Nativity Catholic Church, 2425 Myersville Rd, Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery following Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ron's honor to the American Heart Association or Safety Forces Support Center, 501 W.
