Robert Wingard

Robert Wingard 73 of Akron died October 17 2005. Robert graduated from KSU in 1957 and served in the United States Navy Sub Service during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Goodyear Tire Rubber after 35 years worked at Brandywine Country Club since retiring and was past president of the Deerfield American Legion. Robert is survived by his children Sherri (Rick) Merzweiler Kathy Wingard Robert (Vern) Wingard and Wendy (Tammy) Wingard; grandchildren Jennifer Merzweiler Tyler and Branden Dagenais Jared Jason Jessica Elisabeth and Katie Johnson and brother Don (Jane) Wingard. Funeral Services will be held on Friday October 21 2005 9:00 AM at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Becki Bowan-Verbridge officiating. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Ohio 2831 Prospect Ave. Cleveland OH 44115.
