Robert Tryon

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Robert 'Bob' Tryon age 92 passed on December 16 2006. Robert was born in Macedonia OH to Frederick and Delia (Baldwin) Tryon. Bob graduated from Twinsburg High School. He worked many years at International Harvester in Akron where he retired in 1978. He is a member of Star Lodge of the Masonic Order Cuyahoga Falls. Bob was preceded in death by his parents brothers and sisters his wife of 61 years Mary Jane (Collins) and daughter Cora Lee. He is survived by his son John daughter-in-law Evelyn grandchildren Susan and Dave Mort David and Sheri Gunn great grandchildren Shaun and Brittany Gunn. He has many nieces nephews great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Bob was loved and respected by his family and many friends including Orland Bragg (Evelyn's brother) who came and helped care for him. Relatives and friends will be received at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron OH. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 PM. Funeral Service will be held Thursday December 21 2006 at 1 PM with visitation from 12-1. Officiating will be Rev. Tommie Lee Nicholas. Burial will be at Northlawn Memorial Park.
