Robert Shook

Robby passed away April 30 at the age of 60 after a long illness. Robby worked at Weaver Workshops for many years. His love of life was drawing a self-made artist he was exhibited in several art shows. He also made sculptures out of cardboard and masking tape. Robby enjoyed bowling golf professional wrestling super heroes attending sporting events with his brother and family parties and dancing with pretty girls. Robby is survived by his brother Charlie (Barbara) Shook; sister Beth Rockert; dear aunts and many cousins. He was an uncle to Katie (Rick) Shook Kevin (Angela) Shook Michael Shook Marianne (Ryan) Hartzell Tad (Abra) Friess Emily (Luke) Pier and Elizabeth Friess. He was a great-uncle to Naomi Lucy Ethan Addison Elle Jude Emerson Henry and Tanner. The family would like to thank the staffs at Pleasant View Nursing Home and the Help Foundation Group Homes for the great care they provided Robby especially his friends Vicky and Candi. A memorial service and buffet will be held Sunday June 2 from 1to 5 p.m. at Houston Hall 3069 Houston Rd. in Norton Ohio 44203. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday June 4 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave. Akron Ohio 44320. Donations may be made to the Help Foundation or Barberton Hospice.
