Robert Pastor

Robert "Bob" Pastor, 81, of Mogadore, Ohio and most recently Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021.

He was born on November 23, 1939, in Akron to the late John and Mary Pastor. Bob loved to take care of his almost four acre property. He also loved to fish on his pond, tinker around the house, and shop for bargains.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Pastor and his son, John. He is survived by his son, Mark and daughter-in-law Teresa; daughter-in-law, Debbie Pastor; grandson, Tyler Pastor (fiance, Kayla Wrobel); granddaughter, Rachel Pastor; brother, Tom (Linda) Pastor; cousin, Sharon Lukacik, nephew Tony (Gina) Conti; many other nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Geraldine "Jerry" Kelly, Robin Keller, Jerry Grams, and Debbie Wright.

Bob will be remembered as the self-taught family handyman who could be called on to fix, install, or build nearly anything. He passed his abilities onto several family members. He also enjoyed a good meal out, especially steak at Lucia's.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Visitation of Mary (Annunciation Church), 55 Broad Street, Akron. Visitation will be one hour prior to mass at church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 East Waterloo Road, Akron.
