Robert Kohler

Robert Sr. (63) and Denise Kohler (62) of Copley, Ohio, passed away on December 13, 2014. Denise lost her 10 year battle with Alzheimer's. Robert Sr. passed away of a heart attack in his sleep. Robert was born in Akron on February 6, 1951. He is survived by his mother, Betty Kohler and sister, Susan Kohler. Denise was born in Copley on January 15, 1952. She is survived by her brothers, Bruce and David Krieger. Both Robert Sr. and Denise Kohler are survived by their two children, Jennifer (Brian) Martin of Canton and Robert Jr. (Jennifer) of Columbus. They are also survived by four grandchildren. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, Ohio. There will be a gathering for family and friends following the service until 6:30 p.m. at Presentation of the Lord Church, 3365 Ridgewood Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio. We are thankful for all the love and care that Robert Sr. provided for his wife, Denise, over the past 10 years. We also would like to thank Windsong Care Center in Copley and Akron General Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service for taking care of our mom in her final stage of Alzheimer's. Robert Sr. and Denise will be deeply missed by their family. We know that dad wanted to be waiting in Heaven for when mom got there, that shows the true love that they had shared.
