Our dear husband, father, 'Pepa' and friend passed away September 29, 2015. Robert J. (Bob) Cramer, 79, was born on October 8, 1935 in Mount Vernon, Ohio. After earning a Bachelor's Degree from Miami University, he moved to Akron in 1963 to be with his true love, Carolyn Loicano. They were married in 1964 and remained so for 51 years. Bob was employed by B.F. Goodrich for 25 years as the Manager of the Engineered Products Division and went on to work for the Flood Company for more than seven years prior to his retirement in 1998. Bob was also a volunteer and mentor for many years with Junior Achievement in Akron. Bob is survived by his wife, Carolyn, sons Perry, Gregg (Laurie), grandsons, Philip and Robbie, and siblings Anne Hull, Barbara Burger (Bill) and Thomas (Beverly), of Mount Vernon, Ohio, along with numerous cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Margaret, brother John, and Philip and Carrie Loicano, his loving in-laws who treated him like the son they never had. Bob will be remembered as the true patriarch of the family. He demonstrated - through his quiet strength - the values of God, country and family everyday through his deeds and words. Known for his sense of humor and love of laughter, Bob will be missed for his simple approach to life: God is always by your side, love your country, nothing is more important than family and no joke can be told too often. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Hilary Catholic Church, 2750 W. Market St., Fairlawn, OH, 44333 on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at 11:00am followed by interment in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Autism Society of Greater Akron, 701 South Main Street, Akron, OH 44311.
