Robert Coombs

Robert William Coombs 47 of Waldorf died March 17 2004 at Fort Washington Medical Center Fort Washington MD. He was active in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1973 until his retirement in 1995. He worked as a mechanic at Waldorf Jeep and was a Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed music building models and his cat ''Tigger.'' Born March 26 1956 in Derry N.H. he was the son of the late Raymond Coombs and the late Alice E. Milbury Coombs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Norman Coombs. He is survived by his wife Kathryn C. Coombs; brothers Raymond Coombs of Londonberry N.H. Richard Clement of Nashua N.H. and Ralph Coombs of West Valley N.Y.; sisters Ethel Labrie of Manchester N.H. Phyllis Potter of Raymond N.H. Rita Smith Patricia Coombs and Jeanette MacDonald all of Derry N.H. and Francis Regan of Garland Maine; and numerous other relatives. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 27 2004 at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Copley. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
