Robert Bruno

Robert S. Bruno, age 87, of Tallmadge, passed away on November 3, 2015. He was a hard worker, starting out as a bricklayer and eventually owning his own construction company and other businesses. Bob was a member of the Italian American Professional Businessman's Club, enjoying their morning breakfast club. He was a longtime member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Tallmadge. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Gloria; daughter, Phylis; and sister, Marie Parisi; he is survived by son, Robert (Susan) Bruno; granddaughter, Angela (Steve) Bole; grandsons, Robert F. (Wendy) Bruno and Andrew (Alison) Bruno; great grandchildren, Serafina, Roman, Vincent and Lincoln and nieces, nephews and many friends. Calling hours will be Monday 5-7 pm at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Church, 73 North Ave. Tallmadge, Ohio, followed by interment at Tallmadge Cemetery.
