Robert Bachmann JR

Robert L. Bachmann Jr., age 75, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2014. Bob was born in Akron on Sept. 10, 1938 to the late Robert and Agnes (Gerhart) Bachmann. He was a 1957 graduate of Hoban High School, a 1962 graduate of Akron University, a major in the Air Force and a retiree of Michelin Tire. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; 3 children, Steven Blei, Susan (Jason) Sterling and Jennifer (Ethan) Sigler; grandchildren, Steven, Nathan, Samantha, Anna, Hayden and Jack; sister, Genie (Ted) Richardson; niece, Andrea (Tom) Verni and great niece, Stephanie Schoenheit. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hudson, where family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Bob's final resting place will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
